• Slips on surfaces with fresh adhesive, primer or dust.

Safe use

• Wear work gloves, safety goggles and a mask when cutting, mixing or sanding; hearing protection if using noisy tools.
• Ensure good ventilation during the application of adhesives, sealants, primers and cleaners; keep sources of heat or ignition away when indicated on the packaging.
• Follow the manufacturer's instructions on preparation, ratios and curing times; do not improvise mixtures.
• Check the accessory's compatibility with the type of flooring or cladding; if in doubt, test in a discreet area to rule out staining or discolouration.
• Dry-fit and measure before fixing profiles and trims to avoid protruding edges that could cause trips.
• Keep the work area tidy; remove dust, offcuts and debris to improve adhesion and reduce risks.
• Before drilling or nailing, locate any hidden services; switch off the power in sensitive areas when necessary.
• Avoid contact with eyes and skin; wash exposed areas after handling adhesives, grouts or cleaners.

Storage and maintenance

• Store profiles, trims and skirting boards flat or hanging to avoid warping and edge damage.
• Keep adhesives, primers, grouts and sealants in their original, well-sealed containers, in a cool, dry, ventilated place; avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Protect parts from moisture and frost before installation; do not stack excessive weight on boxes to prevent damage.
• Keep chemicals out of reach of children and pets and separate from food and drink.
• Clean tools and surfaces according to the instructions for the product used; do not pour leftover mix or solvents down drains.
• After installation, carry out gentle cleaning without abrasives or unapproved solvents to avoid damaging profiles, joints or finishes.
• Periodically check joints, trims and skirting boards; replace loose or damaged parts to prevent trips and leaks.

Restrictions on use

• Use only accessories suitable for the intended environment (indoor/outdoor, wet or dry areas); do not use products that are unsuitable for permanently wet areas.
• Do not use these accessories as structural elements, anchorage points, climbing supports or fall-arrest systems.
• Do not walk on or place loads on profiles, adhesives, levellers or joints until the manufacturer states they have cured.
• Do not block expansion joints with unsuitable profiles or sealants.
• Do not mix different chemical products unless their compatibility is expressly stated.
• Restrict access to children and pets during installation and drying; immediately remove small parts that could be swallowed.
• Do not use cutting tools without guards, nor work on unstable or wet surfaces.
