Main risks

• Trips and falls if placed in walkways, entrances, stairways or next to doors.
• Tip-over due to wind, impacts or pets, with possible harm to people, flooring or furniture.
• Cuts or punctures from sharp edges, burrs, broken parts or exposed anchoring stakes.
• Impacts and flying fragments if they enter the path of lawnmowers or robot lawn mowers.
• Deterioration from sun, rain, frost and sudden temperature changes, which may make parts brittle or cause discolouration.
• Rust or moisture staining on paving and decking if the base does not isolate adequately.
• Risk to children and pets from small detached parts, loose decorative elements or batteries in models with lighting.

Safe use

• Place the figure on a flat, stable surface with good drainage. Avoid raised edges and areas where it could fall from height or into water.
• Position it away from walkways and the path of lawnmowers/robot lawn mowers. Leave sufficient space around it for safe movement.
• Secure stability with anchors, stakes or ballast appropriate to its size and wind exposure. Keep stakes concealed or protected to prevent trips.
• Handle with both hands, holding from the base. Wear gloves if the piece is heavy, rough or has pronounced textures.
• Periodically check for cracks, looseness and loose parts. Remove or repair the figure if it shows damage that compromises its integrity.
• Fit protectors to the base (e.g., stops or pads) when placed on delicate surfaces to minimise moisture marks.
• If the product includes lighting or batteries, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, use the specified battery type, do not mix new and used batteries, and keep the compartment securely closed and dry. Do not expose electrical connections to rain.
• If fixing to a wall, fence or tree, use anchor points suitable for the weight and the supporting material; avoid hanging from weak supports.
• Keep away from barbecues and other sources of intense heat.

Storage and maintenance

• Clean with a soft cloth and soapy water. Avoid solvents, abrasives and high-pressure jets that could damage the surface.
• Dry the base after rainfall if placed on wood, porous stone or other sensitive surfaces to prevent staining.
• During periods of frost, hail or strong winds, move the figure to a sheltered place or cover it appropriately.
• Check and retighten anchors regularly. Replace rusted components, ropes or deteriorated stakes.
• For models with lighting or batteries: remove the batteries if not in use for an extended period and replace any swollen or leaking battery.
• Store the figures in a stable position, without stacking weight on top, to avoid deformation or breakage.
• Keep stored figures out of reach of children and pets.

Restrictions of use

• Do not use as a toy, seat, step or support. Do not stand, swing or hang from the figure.
• Do not place on railings, window sills, pool edges or elevated unprotected areas where a fall could cause damage.
• Do not install in areas with very strong winds if it cannot be secured properly.
• Do not place in the path of vehicles, bicycles, scooters or moving garden tools.
• Do not submerge in ponds, fountains or containers with water unless expressly stated by the product.
• Do not modify by drilling, sawing or adding unsuitable ballast that alters its stability.
• For models with lighting or batteries: do not pierce, crush or heat the batteries, and do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
