Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Falls and impacts if an accessory (net, hoop, ladder, pad) is poorly secured or comes loose during use.
- Entrapment and snagging with netting, ropes, buckles, hooks, or near the springs and frame.
- Pinching and cuts when handling springs, clamps and metal edges during assembly or adjustment.
- Slips on the mat or edges when using sprinklers or other accessories that wet the surface.
- Movement or tipping of the structure due to wind if covers or accessories act as a “sail”.
- Electrical hazard with lights or other powered accessories if cables are damaged or in contact with water.
- Choking hazard from small parts that have come loose or screw caps.
- Burns from metal surfaces overheated by the sun.
- Tripping over ladders, anchors, ropes or hanging bags around the perimeter.
Safe use
- Check the accessory is compatible with your trampoline model and size, and always follow the assembly instructions.
- Secure all intended anchor points and check closures, tension and fixings before each use.
- Keep the jumping area and perimeter clear: remove hard toys, tools and objects that could strike or snag.
- Use each accessory only for its intended purpose: do not hang from the net, hoops or bars, nor use them as a swing.
- Go up and down the ladder one at a time and do not allow it to be used for side play while someone is jumping.
- If using water accessories, reduce the flow to avoid puddles and stop use in cold weather; do not jump if the surface is too slippery.
- With electrical accessories, keep cables and batteries out of the jumping area and away from water; do not use the product if there is visible damage.
- Limit the number of users when an accessory reduces the usable space (e.g., hoop or inner net) to avoid collisions.
- Regularly check seams, zips, buckles, straps, foam and padding; remove the accessory if you observe wear, tears or deformation.
Storage and maintenance
- Clean with water and mild soap; avoid abrasive products. Dry thoroughly before storing to prevent mould and corrosion.
- Store textiles, foam and nets in a dry, ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight when not in use for prolonged periods.
- Remove covers, hoops, canopies or loose accessories in strong winds, storms, snow or hail.
- Check and retighten screws and clamps regularly; replace worn straps or tensioners.
- Replace damaged parts only with compatible manufacturer spares; avoid makeshift repairs that could come loose.
- Check for signs of UV degradation on plastics and foam; if they are cracked or brittle, stop using and replace.
- If the accessory uses batteries, remove them if it will not be used for a while to prevent leakage and keep the compartments closed.
Usage restrictions
- Use under adult supervision when used by children. Keep small parts and tools out of reach of young children.
- Not suitable for children under 3 years due to the risk of small parts, cords and entrapment.
- Do not use in strong wind, heavy rain, ice, low light or reduced visibility.
- Do not exceed the stated load limits for each accessory (ladders, hoops, bags or organisers).
- Do not modify the trampoline or the accessory, nor replace fastenings with alternatives not intended.
- Do not wear clothing with long drawstrings, scarves, jewellery or items that could snag on nets or hardware.
- Do not allow pets on the jumping area, or to bite or chew nets and foam.
- Do not install or use tall accessories (e.g., hoops or canopies) under trees, cables or other overhead obstacles.
