Warnings and safety precautions

Main risks

  • Tipping or collapse due to unstable installation, incomplete leg locking, or overloading.
  • Finger trapping in hinges, folding sections, and adjustment or folding mechanisms.
  • Falls when getting on or off, and slips due to spilled oils or lotions.
  • Neck, lower back or shoulder injuries due to incorrect height or poorly adjusted supports (headrest, armrests or face hole).
  • Skin irritation or discomfort from dirty surfaces, poorly breathable covers, or product residues.
  • Restricted breathing if the face hole is accidentally covered with towels or accessories.
  • Electrical hazard, overheating or burns in electric or heated models used near liquids or with blocked ventilation.
  • Tripping over cables, or wheels without the brake engaged, on wheeled models.

Safe use

  • Place the table on a flat, firm surface; fully unfold and secure locks and legs; check stability before each use.
  • Observe the maximum load specified by the manufacturer; only one person on the table; avoid impacts, jumping, or sudden loading on the edges.
  • Adjust the height and accessories (face hole, headrest and armrests) before the person lies down; keep hands away from hinges and moving parts when adjusting.
  • If the model has wheels, engage the brakes; if it is foldable, check the latches before moving or using it.
  • Keep the surroundings clear and leave space around it to move safely.
  • Use clean, breathable covers; clean and disinfect as appropriate between uses; promptly remove any oil residues from the table and floor.
  • For electric or heated models: check cables and plugs, connect to sockets in good condition, keep liquids away and route the cable so it does not present a trip hazard; do not cover ventilation outlets or heating elements.
  • Position the face so that the face hole remains clear; do not place thick towels that make breathing difficult.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store the table in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct heat sources or intense sunlight to protect the upholstery and frame.
  • If foldable, close and secure the latches before transporting it; do not place heavy loads on top during storage.
  • Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid solvents, bleach and abrasives; dry completely before folding or covering.
  • Periodically check screws and bolts, legs, non-slip feet, hinges, tensioners and, if applicable, cables and controls; tighten or replace worn parts.
  • Check the condition of the upholstery; repair or replace if there are tears, cracks or open seams that collect dirt or could snag.
  • If you notice instability, unusual noises, a burning smell or unusual heating in electric models, stop using the product until the issue is resolved by the manufacturer's service centre.

Restrictions of use

  • Indoor use on level surfaces; do not use in the rain, in very humid areas or near baths, showers or swimming pools; on electric models, avoid any exposure to water.
  • Do not use as a ladder, bench, work platform or for purposes other than rest or massage; do not stand on or jump on the table.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load; one person at a time; do not sit on the ends or armrests unless they are designed to bear weight.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets; do not leave minors or people with reduced mobility unattended on the table.
  • Avoid using highly flammable oils or products near heat sources; if the model is heated, do not cover heating elements with thick blankets.
  • Do not modify, drill or replace components with non-compatible parts; use only accessories recommended for the model.
