Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Injuries to hands, wrists or face from the rapid movement of the rods and from them shooting out on the opposite side.
- Pinch points at the goals and in the ball return channels when attempting to retrieve the ball during play.
- Tipping over or movement of the table football table if it is pushed forcefully, climbed on, or weight is placed on the structure.
- Choking hazard from balls and small parts, especially for young children.
- Injuries when moving the table football table due to its weight and size, or when folding/unfolding on models where applicable.
- Cuts or splinters if there are damaged edges, protruding screws or deteriorated surfaces.
- Falls or collisions around the table due to insufficient clear space during play.
Safe use
- Assemble according to the manufacturer's instructions and check that the table is stable and level before playing.
- Keep hands, face, hair and clothing away from the path of the rods; always use the stoppers and end caps if the product includes them.
- Do not put your hand into the goal or the return channel while the ball is in play.
- Play in a controlled manner, avoiding sudden impacts and uncontrolled spins of the rods that may cause them to shoot out on the opposite side.
- Leave clear space around the table to move without tripping and keep fragile or sharp objects away.
- Do not climb on, sit on or lean on the table football table; do not move the table during play.
- Use only balls suitable for table football; do not use metal or heavy objects as a substitute.
- Wipe up any spilt liquids immediately to prevent slips and damage to the surface.
Storage and maintenance
- Place and use indoors, on a firm, level surface, away from excessive humidity and from heat sources or direct sunlight.
- Regularly check screws, legs, levellers, stoppers and handles; tighten or replace loose or damaged parts.
- Inspect the rods and their guides to ensure smooth, wobble-free movement; do not use if they are bent or deformed.
- Clean the playfield and rods with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid abrasive products. Lubricate only with products recommended by the manufacturer.
- Store balls and accessories in a secure container, out of reach of small children when not in use.
- If the model is foldable, secure the locking system before moving or storing.
- To move the table, lift it between two adults and avoid dragging it to prevent damage to the legs and joints.
Restrictions of use
- Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts and choking hazard.
- Children must play under adult supervision, particularly because the rods extend beyond the table.
- Do not use outdoors unless the manufacturer expressly states it is suitable.
- Do not modify the product or remove guards, stoppers or end caps from the rods.
- Do not use if the table is unstable, has cracks, splinters, sharp edges or loose parts.
- Do not place next to stairs, raised edges, swimming pools or narrow walkways.
- Avoid playing with very loose clothing, scarves, necklaces or loose hair near the rods.
