Warnings and safety precautions

Main risks

  • Tip-over due to overloading or placing weight high up.
  • Unexpected movement on wet floors if the wheels are not locked.
  • Trapping or pinching when operating or cleaning the wheels and brakes.
  • Bottles and items falling, with possible breakages and cuts.
  • Slips or knocks from tripping over the trolley in narrow spaces.
  • Deterioration due to constant moisture, rust or mould.
  • Leaks or spills of cleaning products or cosmetics that may irritate the skin or damage surfaces.
  • Breakage of fragile items due to impacts or excessive loads.

Safe use

  • Assemble and adjust the trolley following the manufacturer’s instructions; ensure screws and joints are secure before use.
  • Place it on a flat, stable surface; engage the brakes if fitted.
  • Do not exceed the recommended load; distribute the weight and place heavy items on the lower shelves, centred.
  • Use baskets or dividers to stabilise bottles and small items; tighten caps securely.
  • Move it slowly, holding it by the frame; avoid moving it on wet floors or where there are obstacles.
  • Keep the trolley out of the shower or bath and away from heavy splashes.
  • Do not sit, stand or lean on the trolley; do not hang heavy bags from the sides.
  • Do not place very hot items directly on the surfaces; allow straighteners or curlers to cool.
  • If you place electrical appliances on the trolley, keep them unplugged when not in use and away from water.

Storage and maintenance

  • Keep it indoors, in a ventilated area and away from direct water spray.
  • Dry surfaces after splashes to reduce corrosion and mould.
  • Clean with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products; follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Periodically check screws, joints, shelves and wheels; re-tighten or replace damaged parts.
  • Keep the wheels free of hair and limescale; check the brakes work properly, if present.
  • If the floor is very slippery, use suitable stops or non-slip pads.
  • Store chemicals in intact, upright containers; clean up spills immediately.
  • Move the trolley away from areas with persistent condensation to ventilate and dry it when necessary.

Usage restrictions

  • Do not use as a ladder, step stool, walking aid or seat.
  • Do not move on stairs, steep ramps or very uneven surfaces.
  • Do not use if it shows instability, cracks, deformed shelves or defective wheels/brakes.
  • Keep out of reach of small children; do not allow them to climb on or push the trolley.
  • Store sharp objects, medicines and cleaning products in closed containers and preferably on higher shelves.
  • Do not expose to intense heat sources or flames.
  • Do not use outdoors in rain or prolonged humidity.
  • Position the trolley so that it does not obstruct doors, corridors or escape routes.
