Safety warnings and precautions
Key risks
- Cuts from sharp edges, fittings or screws during unpacking and installation.
- Finger trapping or impact injuries due to sudden door closure if the spring tension is not correctly set.
- Partial tipping of the appliance if it is not properly anchored to the cabinet and weight is placed on the open door during installation.
- Damage to the dishwasher door caused by inappropriate screws, unapproved drilling or poorly positioned fixings.
- Poor closure, rubbing or possible leaks if the panel is misaligned or interferes with the seal.
- Overheating or abnormal operation if the panel or the plinth blocks the appliance's ventilation areas.
- Breakage or chipping of glass panels or fragile materials due to impacts or twisting.
Safe use
- Check compatibility of dimensions, fixing system and weight recommended by the dishwasher manufacturer before installation.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and work with the door stable and supported; do not lean or sit on it.
- Use only the designated fixing points and specified screws; do not drill or modify the door.
- Handle the panel with gloves and, if it is heavy or bulky, do so with two people to prevent dropping.
- Align the panel without forcing it; check that the door opens and closes smoothly and does not rub against the cabinet.
- If required by the model, adjust the door spring tension after adding the panel weight to prevent it from falling or closing on its own.
- Do not cover ventilation slots or appliance indicators; avoid non-recommended adhesives or tapes.
Storage and maintenance
- Store the panel on a flat, dry and ventilated surface, protected from dust, moisture and impacts.
- Avoid standing it vertically without support to prevent falls or deformation.
- Clean with a soft cloth and neutral detergent; avoid abrasive scourers, solvents and caustic cleaners.
- Dry the edges and fittings after cleaning to prevent deterioration.
- Check screws and fixings periodically; tighten if necessary and correct any misalignment.
- Minimise prolonged exposure to heat and direct steam to prevent warping or delamination of the finish.
- If you notice cracks, chips or lifted edges, repair or replace the panel before it detaches.
Usage restrictions
- Intended for use only as a front panel for indoor dishwashers in a domestic environment.
- Install only on compatible models and within the weight and dimensions permitted by the appliance manufacturer.
- Do not use the door as a seat, step or support; do not hang heavy objects from the handle.
- Do not install or use the panel if it shows visible damage, especially on edges and corners (extra caution with glass panels).
- Do not allow children to handle the door during installation; keep screws and tools out of their reach.
- Do not cover dishwasher sensors, safety systems or ventilation areas.
- Do not expose the panel to high-pressure water jets or direct heat sources.
