- Door falling during installation or due to loose or unsuitable fittings.
- Sagging or derailing of sliding doors, with a risk of impact or jamming.
- Breakage of glass or mirror panels (if present), causing cuts from shards.
- Tipping of the wardrobe when handling heavy doors if the unit is not properly stabilised or anchored.
- Impacts from sudden opening, rebound, or from protruding edges and handles.
- Accidental entrapment of children or pets inside the wardrobe if locks or keys are present.
Safe use
- Handle and install the door with the help of another person if it is heavy; always hold it by the sides and not by the handles.
- Use compatible fittings and follow the manufacturer’s instructions; do not force fittings or adjustments.
- Keep hands away from hinges, catches and pinch points when opening or closing.
- Operate the doors gently and avoid impacts against the unit or the wall.
- For sliding doors, check that the door panel is properly seated in the tracks before use, and do not move it if you notice unusual rubbing or jamming.
- If the door includes glass or a mirror, inspect it before assembly; handle it with care and avoid hanging heavy objects from the panel.
- After installation, check screw tightness, alignment, and correct closing/opening; readjust as soon as you detect any looseness.
Storage and maintenance
- Before assembly, store the doors upright, on a stable base, with edge protection to prevent impacts or warping.
- Keep the product in a dry, ventilated place, away from heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.
- Clean with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products; avoid excess water on edges and fittings.
- Periodically check hinges, screws, handles and tracks; re-tighten or replace worn or damaged parts.
- Keep sliding door tracks free of dust and objects; lubricate tracks or hinges only if recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use the door if you detect cracks in the glass/mirror, significant looseness or deformation; replace or repair before continuing use.
Usage restrictions
- Not suitable for outdoor use or high-humidity areas unless expressly stated for the product.
- Do not climb, hang from or sit on the doors; avoid hanging heavy loads on knobs or hooks fixed to the door.
- Do not modify the door by drilling, cutting or replacing fittings with others not intended.
- Do not use the door on unstable wardrobes; anchor the unit to the wall when advisable to prevent tipping.
- Avoid installing or using locks that do not allow opening from the inside; keep keys out of the reach of children.
- Do not leave doors open in narrow passageways where they could cause trips or impacts.
