Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Blows and crush injuries to feet, hands and forearms from accidental drops or uncontrolled swings.
  • Back, shoulder and wrist injuries due to incorrect technique or choosing a weight that is too heavy.
  • Slips or loss of grip caused by sweaty hands or wet/smooth handles.
  • Damage to the floor and nearby objects; risk to other people, children and pets in confined spaces.
  • Pinching or chafing between the handle and forearm during certain movements.
  • Cuts or snags from burrs, cracks or deteriorated coatings.
  • Fatigue, dizziness or cramp due to overexertion or insufficient rest.

Safe use

  • Choose a weight you can control with stable technique and progress gradually.
  • Warm up before training and start with basic, controlled movements.
  • Ensure a clear area around you and overhead to avoid collisions.
  • Work on a firm, level surface and, if needed, with floor protection.
  • Keep your grip dry and the handle clean; wipe sweat from your hands and the kettlebell with a towel.
  • Control the movement at all times; avoid abrupt swings and do not release the weight.
  • Maintain a neutral spine and avoid locking your elbows and knees.
  • If the model is adjustable, check that the fasteners and pins are correctly locked before each set.
  • Stop the exercise if you experience sharp pain, dizziness, tingling or loss of grip.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store the weights on a low, stable surface and out of walkways to prevent falls.
  • Protect the floor with suitable bases or racks and avoid unstable stacking.
  • Dry and clean the handle and body after use to remove sweat and dust; avoid harsh solvents.
  • Regularly inspect the handle and surface for cracks, looseness, sharp edges or flaking coating. Do not use the product if you detect any damage.
  • Keep the weights away from extreme humidity and heat sources.
  • On adjustable models, check the condition of screws/pins and replace them if worn; store with the mechanisms locked.

Usage restrictions

  • They are not toys: keep them out of the reach of children and pets; supervise if children are nearby during training.
  • Do not use the weights under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you are excessively fatigued.
  • Do not perform overhead lifts without solid technique or if the environment does not provide sufficient height and space.
  • Do not train on wet or unstable surfaces, or next to glass, appliances or fragile furniture.
  • Do not wear sandals or open footwear; use closed-toe footwear with good sole grip.
  • If you have recent injuries, joint pain, balance problems or are pregnant, avoid heavy loads and explosive movements; consider seeking guidance from a professional before resuming or starting training.
