Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Tipping of the display unit or falling objects due to overloading, impacts or uneven surfaces.
- Cuts or pinches during assembly, adjustment or folding, and from damaged edges or parts.
- Instability on slippery or uneven floors that may cause shifting.
- Damage to floors and walls due to dragging or inadequate fixings.
- Risk to children if they climb, pull the display unit or handle small parts.
- Breakage of shelves or panels (e.g., glass or acrylic) due to impact or poorly distributed load, where applicable.
- Trips caused by poorly routed cables or accessories in models with integrated lighting, where applicable.
Safe use
- Assemble following the product instructions and use all the fixings and accessories supplied.
- Place the display unit on a flat, stable surface; add stoppers or non-slip pads as appropriate.
- Do not exceed the recommended load; distribute weight evenly and place heavier items on lower shelves and towards the back.
- If the display unit is tall or narrow, secure it to the wall or floor with suitable fixings as directed in the product instructions.
- Position it out of walkways; allow space to open doors and avoid stair edges or balconies.
- Do not use the display unit as a seat, step or support; do not climb or hang from it.
- On models with lighting, route cables so they do not cross walkways and avoid pulling or crushing.
- Handle with care during assembly and moving; wear gloves to reduce cuts and, if it is bulky, move it with two people.
- Avoid direct exposure to heat sources, high humidity or intense sunlight that may warp or discolour materials.
- Place fragile items on a stable base and, if necessary, use non-slip bases or compatible securing systems.
Storage and maintenance
- Clean with a soft cloth and non-abrasive products; dry to prevent marks, wood swelling or rust on metal.
- Periodically check screws, joints and feet; retighten if necessary and replace damaged or cracked parts.
- Remove and replace immediately any shelves or panels that are broken or cracked.
- For transport or storage, fold or dismantle as designed; protect edges and surfaces with suitable packaging.
- Store in a dry, ventilated place and in a stable position, without stacking weight on top that could deform it.
- Lift the display unit to move it and use floor protectors; avoid dragging it to prevent damage to its base or the flooring.
- On wall-fixed models, check that the fixings show no looseness or corrosion.
Usage restrictions
- Suitable for indoor use unless expressly indicated for outdoor use.
- Do not use as load-bearing furniture, a seat, a ladder or a grab bar.
- Keep heavy, fragile or sharp displayed items out of the reach of children; supervise when minors are present.
