Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Cuts from glass panel breakage due to impacts, point loads or sudden temperature changes.
  • Finger entrapment in sliding doors, hinges or magnetic seals.
  • Slips and falls caused by water and soap inside the enclosure and on the surrounding floor.
  • Leaks and pooling due to worn seals or a blocked drain.
  • Knocks against edges or profiles, especially if the door becomes misaligned.
  • Difficulty exiting if the doors jam due to dirt or misalignment.
  • Scalds from excessively hot water when starting the shower.
  • Panels falling or toppling during installation or improper handling.

Safe use

  • Check stability and secure fixings before first use and periodically.
  • Open and close the doors gently using the handles; keep fingers clear of tracks, rollers and closing seals.
  • Do not force jammed doors: clean the tracks and check the stops and rollers before using again.
  • Check the water temperature before entering and avoid applying very hot water suddenly to cold panels.
  • Use a non-slip mat if the tray is slippery and dry any water on the surrounding floor immediately.
  • Keep the drain free of debris to prevent pooling and overflows.
  • Do not hang towels or heavy objects from the doors or frame of the enclosure.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions; if unsure or handling heavy panels, use a qualified installer.

Storage and maintenance

  • Before installation, store the panels vertically on a stable surface with protection; avoid impacts and areas of foot traffic.
  • Do not place weight on the glass or tray; keep the packaging until installation.
  • Clean with warm water and mild pH-neutral soap; rinse and dry after use to reduce limescale and slippery surfaces.
  • Avoid abrasive scourers and very harsh products, chlorinated agents or concentrated acids that may damage glass, seals and finishes.
  • Clean tracks and profiles regularly to remove grit or build-up that hinders sliding.
  • Inspect seals, sealant and brush strips; replace worn or loose components to maintain watertightness.
  • Gently tighten accessible screws if they loosen, without over-tightening; if play persists, stop using the enclosure until corrected.
  • Ventilate the bathroom after each use to promote drying and reduce mould growth.

Restrictions of use

  • Do not use the enclosure if there are cracks, chips, significant play or loose parts; do not use it until repaired or replaced.
  • Do not stand, sit or lean your body weight on profiles, bars, shelves or doors.
  • Do not strike or slam; avoid impacts with hard objects.
  • Do not modify the structure or drill profiles or panels to add accessories not intended.
  • Do not use electrical appliances inside the enclosure or with wet hands.
  • Do not use solvents, flammable aerosols or incompatible cleaners inside.
  • Children, elderly people or those with reduced mobility should use it with supervision or appropriate aids.
  • Do not leave doors open obstructing walkways where there is a risk of tripping.
