Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Falls or tipping over that can cause cuts, bruises or damage to floors and furniture.
  • Breakage of fragile materials (e.g., ceramic, glass or resin) with sharp fragments.
  • Small parts or decorative elements that can detach and pose a choking hazard to children and pets.
  • Surfaces scratched or stained by rough bases or hard edges.
  • Warping, discolouration or fire risk if placed near flames, candles or heat sources.
  • In glass or crystal pieces, concentration of sunlight that can generate excessive heat.
  • Injury when moving heavy or large ornaments due to poor grip.

Safe use

  • Place the ornament on flat, stable, level surfaces, leaving clearance from edges.
  • Avoid placing them in walkways, on narrow ledges or unstable shelves where they can tip over.
  • Use felt pads or non-slip bases to improve stability and protect the furniture.
  • Keep ornaments away from candles, fireplaces, radiators and prolonged direct sunlight.
  • Handle with both hands; for bulky or heavy pieces, ask for assistance to move them safely.
  • Do not allow them to be used as toys; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth or one that is slightly damp; avoid abrasive products and soaking.
  • If the product includes stands or anchors, use them according to the instructions to improve stability.
  • Remove and dispose of any fragments or loose parts carefully to prevent cuts or accidental ingestion.

Storage and maintenance

  • Store the ornaments in their packaging or wrapped in padded material to protect them from impacts and dust.
  • Avoid stacking weight on top of fragile pieces or those with protruding details.
  • Keep in a dry, ventilated place, away from moisture and sudden temperature changes.
  • Periodically check stability, the condition of the base, and for any cracks or hairline fractures.
  • Replace pads or base protectors when they are worn or come unstuck.
  • If they get wet, dry immediately; do not immerse the ornaments in water.
