Safe use

  • Check the product’s load capacity and choose fixings suitable for the wall type; do not reuse damaged wall plugs.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure it is level before final tightening.
  • Before drilling, check there are no hidden cables or pipes in the area.
  • Maintain a safe distance from hobs, ovens, extractor hoods and other sources of heat or vapour.

  • Do not hang hot or damp utensils that may drip onto slippery or electrical surfaces.
  • Wear eye protection and gloves during installation and when cleaning edges or burrs.
  • Check screws, hooks and joints regularly; tighten or replace any loose or damaged parts.

Storage and maintenance

  • Keep surfaces dry; wipe away splashes of water, grease or vapour to prevent corrosion and loss of grip.
  • Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid scouring pads or abrasive chemicals that could damage finishes and fixings.
  • Regularly inspect the wall fixing and the condition of the hooks; replace deformed components.
  • Replace adhesives, suction cups or mounting strips when they show wear or after previous removals.
  • Avoid continuous maximum loads; stay below the stated capacity, especially on plasterboard walls.
  • Keep the walkway clear to avoid accidental snagging with clothing or handles.

  • Do not modify the product or its fixings, or replace them with non-equivalent parts.
  • Do not exceed the stated load or hang very bulky items if the model does not permit it.
  • Do not use outdoors unless the product expressly states that it is suitable.
  • Keep these products and any hanging utensils out of the reach of young children; supervise their use.
