Main risks

• Breakage due to impacts or drops, with sharp fragments that can cause injury.
• Tipping over in walkways or draughty areas, with risk of falls and damage.
• Increased weight when filled with water, sand or stones, with risk of strain and trapped fingers.
• Spills or leaks that may cause slips and staining or swelling of furniture and floors.
• Sharp rims or openings that can cut during handling.
• Stagnant water that encourages mould, unpleasant odours or insects.
• Small filler pieces (pebbles, marbles, beads) with a risk of ingestion for children and pets.
• Thermal shock from exposure to heat sources, strong sun or cold, which may crack or break the vase.
• Proximity to sockets or electrical appliances poses a risk if liquid is spilt.

Safe use

• Place on flat, stable and level surfaces, away from edges.
• Use non-slip pads or felt on the base and, if placed on wood or fabrics, a waterproof tray.
• Before filling with water, check that the model is suitable; if in doubt, use an inner container.
• Consider the final weight: preferably move it empty and hold with both hands from the base.
• Position away from walkways, doors, curtains and areas where children or pets play.
• Keep away from heat sources and avoid sudden temperature changes.
• Change the water frequently and clean the interior to prevent biofilm and odours; rinse after using floral preservatives.
• Wipe up any spills immediately and keep it away from sockets and cables.
• Check periodically for cracks, chips or instability; stop using if defects are detected.
• Insert stems or decorative elements carefully to avoid scratching or puncturing the interior; protect sharp ends if necessary.

Storage and maintenance

• Clean with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral detergent; avoid abrasives or scouring pads that may scratch.
• Avoid prolonged soaking for porous models or those with delicate finishes.
• Dry completely before storing and refresh the water regularly during use.
• Fit felt or silicone protectors on the base and replace them when worn.
• Store empty, in a stable place and protected from impacts; do not stack unless the design allows it.
• Separate with padding when storing or transporting to prevent scuffs and chipping.
• If it breaks, collect the pieces with gloves and carefully remove small particles.
• Check periodically for moisture under the base and clean to prevent stains or mould.

Restrictions on use

• Keep out of reach of children and pets; supervise if it contains water, stones, sand or small pieces.
• Not suitable for food or drink; do not use as a jug, fish bowl or container for consumables.
• Do not fill with hot liquids or use with flames or candles inside.
• Do not hang, pierce or drill the product unless it is designed for this.
• Do not use outdoors unless specifically indicated; protect from strong winds and frost.
• Do not lean on, climb on or sit on floor vases.
• Do not move by pulling the flowers or by the neck or rim, especially when full or heavy.
• Do not use harsh chemicals (concentrated bleach, solvents) that may damage the finish or supporting surfaces.
