Main risks

  • Cuts when handling the blades, especially during assembly, disassembly and cleaning.
  • Entrapment of fingers, hair or clothing in moving parts if used with the lid incorrectly fitted.
  • Food being ejected if the bowl or lid are not properly secured or are damaged.
  • Risk of electric shock from contact with water, wet hands, or damaged cables/plugs.
  • Motor overheating due to continuous use or overloading, with possible sudden shutdown.
  • Cross-contamination and bacterial growth when processing raw meat without proper hygiene.
  • Damage to the appliance or breakage when attempting to chop foods that are too hard or not suitable for the model.
  • Splashes or steam when processing very hot foods.

Safe use

  • Place the chopper on a stable, dry and level surface.
  • Assemble the bowl, blades and lid correctly before plugging in and switching on.
  • Keep hands and utensils out of the bowl during operation; do not open the lid while it is running.
  • Pre-cut the food and remove bones or very hard parts to prevent jamming.
  • Do not exceed the stated capacity or the maximum fill line; process in batches if necessary.
  • Use short pulses and let the motor rest between batches if you notice it heating up.
  • Always unplug before changing accessories, clearing a jam, emptying the bowl or cleaning.
  • Keep the cable away from edges, hot surfaces and water; do not pull the cable to move the appliance.
  • Avoid processing very hot foods or liquids; allow them to cool before chopping.
  • If you detect unusual vibration, strange noises or a burning smell, stop using it and check the assembly and the load.

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean the parts that come into contact with food after each use and dry them completely to prevent mould or odours.
  • Handle the blades with care, holding them by the base or with a thick cloth.
  • Do not immerse the motor unit; clean it with a slightly damp cloth and dry afterwards.
  • Check that the bowl, lid, shaft and blades show no cracks, looseness or deformation; replace damaged parts.
  • Store the chopper in a dry place, out of the reach of children and protected from dust and impacts.
  • If the product includes a blade guard, fit it when storing; otherwise, wrap the blades to prevent accidental cuts.
  • Coil the cable without stretching or excessively bending it to prevent internal damage.

  • Do not leave the appliance running unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children; use requires adult supervision.
  • Do not use outdoors or near heat sources or open flames.

  • Do not use the chopper if the cable, plug, bowl, lid or blades are damaged.
  • Avoid using it with wet hands or on wet surfaces to reduce the risk of electric shock.
