Key risks

• Falls due to loss of balance, potholes, kerbs or uneven surfaces.
• Tip-overs on sharp turns, when riding over obstacles or on slopes.
• Collisions with people, pets, furniture or other vehicles.
• Entrapment or pinching in wheels, chain/drivetrain and moving steering parts.
• Injuries from use without a helmet and appropriate protective gear.
• For electric models: battery or charger overheating if used or charged improperly.
• Risk of falling into water if used near pools, ponds or unguarded edges.

Safe use

• Assembly and initial adjustment by an adult following the instructions; before each ride check bolts, wheels, steering, brake (if fitted) and seat.
• Always use a well-fitted child’s helmet, knee and elbow pads, and closed-toe footwear.
• Choose wide, firm, smooth and clear areas; avoid loose gravel, sand, mud, ice and puddles.
• Avoid steep slopes; make gentle turns at a moderate speed.
• Keep hands, feet, laces and clothing away from wheels and drivetrain; wear close-fitting clothing to prevent snagging.
• Do not perform jumps, stunts, skids or tow objects or people.
• For electric models: start in the lowest speed mode and teach how to start, turn and brake before increasing power.
• Stop use if there are noises, vibrations or loose parts and inspect the vehicle.

Storage and maintenance

• Store in a dry, clean and ventilated place, away from heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.
• Clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry; avoid jets of water on electrical components or bearings.
• Periodically check the tightening of bolts, axles and pedals, tyre wear, and the correct operation of the brake (if fitted) and the drivetrain guards.
• Lightly lubricate moving parts only if indicated by the manufacturer; keep lubricants away from braking surfaces.
• Replace damaged or worn parts without delay with compatible spares; do not use the vehicle until it has been repaired.
• Electric models: charge on a stable, ventilated surface, out of the reach of children; do not cover during charging, disconnect when finished and do not leave charging unattended for long periods or overnight.
• If not to be used for a while, clean, protect from dust and, for electric models, switch off and charge periodically as advised by the manufacturer.

Restrictions of use

• Use in private areas or play areas; not suitable for roads, cycle lanes or areas with traffic.
• Follow the age, height, weight and number of occupants recommended by the manufacturer.
• Use while seated with the body inside the vehicle; do not carry passengers if the model is not designed to do so.
• Do not use near stairs, raised edges, swimming pools, ponds or uneven surfaces without protection.
• Do not use in rain, low visibility or when the ground is wet, icy or very slippery.
• Requires close and constant adult supervision; do not leave children alone during use.
• Do not modify the vehicle or remove limiters, guards or speed restrictors.
• Do not carry loads, loose objects or pets on the vehicle.
