Safety warnings and precautions
Main risks
- Bag falls due to inadequate attachment of the anchor point, chains or straps.
- Injuries to hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet or ankles due to improper technique or lack of protection.
- Pinching or cuts from carabiners, chains, buckles or zips.
- Unpredictable swinging and rebound of the bag, with a risk of colliding with walls, ceilings or other people.
- Toppling of bags with a base if not properly weighted or on uneven floors.
- Hard spots, lumps or voids in the filling that may cause bruising.
- Damage to the ceiling, wall or mount due to repeated loads and vibrations.
- Slips or trips caused by bulky bases, low-hanging chains, or spilled water/sand.
- Chafing and skin irritation from continuous friction.
- Noise and vibrations that may disturb neighbours or others sharing the space.
Safe use
- Place the bag in a clear area, with sufficient distance from walls, furniture and other people.
- Before each session, check anchor points, chains/straps, carabiners, seams and zips or base plugs.
- Wear hand wraps and boxing gloves; for kicks, use appropriate footwear or specific protection.
- Warm up and increase intensity progressively; stop exercising if you experience sharp pain, dizziness or numbness.
- Keep your wrist aligned and avoid striking with misaligned joints.
- Keep your hands and face away from metal fittings while striking.
- For bags with a base, weigh it down and adjust according to the manufacturer's instructions, and check stability before use.
- Do not allow anyone to hold the bag by the chains or straps while someone else is striking.
- Use the bag on a level, non-slip floor; remove obstacles around it.
- Stay hydrated and take regular breaks; ventilate the area after training.
Storage and maintenance
- Install the bag only on solid structures and with hardware suitable for the support; if you are unsure how to assess it, seek qualified assistance.
- Periodically inspect seams, leather/covering, chains, straps, carabiners and anchor points; replace damaged parts immediately.
- Check the filling and redistribute it if very hard spots or voids appear; refill or replace the material when necessary.
- Clean the surface with a soft cloth and mild neutral soap; avoid solvents or abrasive products.
- Dry the bag after training and keep it in a dry, ventilated place, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
- For bags with a base, check for leaks; clean up spills and consider emptying the base before moving long distances.
- Protect the floor with a mat or shock-absorbing base to reduce vibrations and marks.
- Periodically tighten the mount's screws/nuts and check the condition of the anchor point in the ceiling or wall.
Usage restrictions
- Not a toy: keep children and pets away and, for minors, use only under adult supervision.
- Do not hang from, climb or swing on the bag, chains or straps.
- Do not strike at full power without hand wraps and gloves; avoid wearing jewellery, watches or sharp items.
- Do not install on suspended ceilings, fragile partitions or damaged structures.
- Do not modify the product or replace hardware with non-equivalent parts or parts of dubious origin.
- Do not use outdoors unless the product is specifically rated for it.
- Do not use the bag as an anchor point for other equipment (ropes, suspension trainers, etc.).
