- Sudden snap-back of the roll-up mechanism with a risk of pinching or impact injuries.
- Finger entrapment in hinges, brackets, roller shaft or bottom bar.
- Trips and falls caused by extended legs, casings on the floor or cables.
- Deterioration or warping of the fabric due to proximity to heat sources or flames.
- Mould and staining if stored wet or dirty.
- Electrical hazard in motorised models due to damaged cables or moisture.
- Uncomfortable glare if you look at the projection source or strong reflections.
- Minor cuts from sharp metal edges or exposed fasteners.
- Suffocation hazard from packaging bags and small parts during unpacking.
Safe use
- Check the condition of the product before each use; if damaged, do not use it.
- Deploy and retract slowly, keeping hands away from the mechanism.
- Ensure the stand or tripod is stable and keep the screen level.
- For wall/ceiling mounting, use fixings suitable for the material and weight; carry out installation with two people for large formats.
- Keep the area clear and manage cables to prevent tripping.
- Keep a distance from radiators, heaters, fireplaces and very hot light sources.
- Avoid strong draughts or wind when using it outdoors.
- If motorised, do not force the travel or operate it repeatedly in quick succession; disconnect the power before any cleaning or adjustment.
- Do not look directly at the projector lens or at very bright reflections on the surface.
- Follow your model’s specific instructions for locking height and anchoring points.
Storage and maintenance
- Roll or fold only when the fabric is dry and free of dust.
- Store in a dry, clean and ventilated place, away from moisture and sudden temperature changes.
- Avoid placing weight on the casing or the fabric; use a cover or transport tube if available.
- Clean with a soft microfibre cloth; for localised stains, use lukewarm water with a highly diluted neutral soap. Do not use abrasives, alcohol or solvents.
- Periodically check anchors, screws, legs and the condition of the wiring on motorised models; replace damaged components according to the instructions.
- Verify that the locking mechanism and the roller shaft operate smoothly; if you notice noises, jamming or abnormal heating, stop using it.
- After outdoor use, remove dust and moisture before storing.
- Keep the product out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
Usage restrictions
- Not a toy; adult supervision is required during deployment and folding.
- Do not hang objects from, or apply loads to, the bottom bar, frame or casing.
- Do not modify, drill, cut or paint the screen or its mounts.
- Do not use near open flames or directly above heat sources.
- Do not use in areas with high humidity, splashes or rain unless the model is designed for it.
- Do not install on damaged surfaces or those that cannot bear the load.
- Do not force closure if there are obstacles in the path; remove them before operating.
- Do not leave packaging bags or foam within reach of children; dispose of them safely after unpacking.
