Safety warnings and precautions

Main risks

  • Small parts and accessories (toy food, screws, magnets) that may cause choking, especially for children under 3 years.
  • Risk of the unit tipping over if it is pushed, climbed on or if children hang from doors and shelves.
  • Entrapment and pinching hazards at doors, drawers, taps or moving mechanisms.
  • Batteries, including button batteries, in light/sound modules: risk of ingestion, leakage and overheating if used incorrectly.
  • Slips caused by water or other liquids spilled during play.
  • Sharp edges, broken parts or protruding screws that may cause cuts or scratches.
  • Long cords or ribbons on aprons or accessories that could become entangled.
  • Warping or heating of the material if placed next to radiators, cookers or other real heat sources.

Safe use

  • An adult should assemble the product, following the instructions, and remove packaging, ties and plastics, keeping them out of the reach of children.
  • Place the kitchen on a flat, stable surface, away from stairs, walkways and heat sources; if the model allows, secure it to the wall to prevent tipping.
  • Supervise play according to the age and number of children; remove and store small parts when children under 3 are playing.
  • Teach children not to climb on or hang from the structure, and to open/close doors and drawers keeping fingers away from the hinges.
  • If it includes a sink or water play, use cold water only and wipe up spills immediately.
  • Do not connect to real taps or use hot liquids.
  • Before each use, check for loose parts, damaged edges or detached magnets; remove any broken item immediately.
  • On models with light/sound, keep batteries out of reach, ensure the screwed battery cover is secured and use the specified type; do not mix new and used batteries or different chemistries.

Storage and maintenance

  • Clean surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap; dry thoroughly to prevent mould and unpleasant odours.
  • Regularly check screws, joints and fixings; tighten when necessary and replace worn or damaged parts.
  • Remove the batteries if it will not be used for a prolonged period and check that there are no signs of corrosion in the compartments.
  • Store accessories in containers to prevent loss and tripping; keep small parts out of reach of younger children.
  • Keep the kitchen indoors, in a dry place and away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning products that may damage surfaces, stickers or finishes.

Usage restrictions

  • Indoor domestic use for pretend play; not designed to cook real food or to be used with real electrical appliances or flames.
  • Follow the manufacturer's age recommendation; keep out of reach of children under 3 when it includes small parts, magnets or button batteries.
  • Do not use as a stool, stepladder or surface to stand on; do not hang from doors, shelves or taps.
  • Do not overload shelves or hooks with heavy items.
  • Do not modify the structure or drill to add accessories not intended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use outdoors or in damp areas such as bathrooms or near swimming pools.
